Axel König, an entrepreneur from the Rhine-Main region, founded the company in 2003 as Apollo Beteiligungen GmbH, which operated as a holding company for the real estate consulting firm NAI Apollo Group.
Commercial real estate has been and remains a key focus of the company.

Real estate-related investments remain a key focus today. Over the years, the portfolio has been diversified with additional attractive investments, and in 2026 the company was renamed Averest Holding GmbH.
Today, Averest Holding GmbH represents a family-owned business with an increasingly broad scope. Following an opportunity-driven investment philosophy, the company’s portfolio of investments is being gradually built up and expanded.

Apollo Holding’s current investments are united by a focus on commercial real estate. The expertise acquired over decades forms the foundation for authentic business expansion.
The NAI Apollo Group is a nationwide real estate consulting firm offering a wide range of services across a total of 8 locations—both domestically and internationally.
The property owner and developer Alpha Industrial was founded in 2007 and has grown over the years into a leading developer of logistics real estate and business parks, with a current focus on Germany. In addition to logistics facilities, business parks in North Rhine-Westphalia are also playing an increasingly important role.
This company is a “last-mile” investment firm. Its steadily growing portfolio focuses on the Rhine-Main and Rhine-Neckar regions.
GELEEFABRIK DREIEICH
The Geleefabrik was founded out of a passion for the automotive industry. It is a complex dedicated to the automotive sector, home to a variety of tenants, with a mix of older and newer buildings.

Medical Intervention Team, e.V.
The Medical Intervention Team e.V. (MIT) stands for humanism, empathy, and responsibility. This recognized nonprofit organization provides free assistance to people in need in developing countries and crisis regions through a team of experienced doctors.
A current focus is humanitarian aid for the victims of the war in Ukraine. Averest supports the Medical Intervention Team with aid shipments of medical supplies and was directly involved in providing escape routes for refugees at the start of the war, just as significant supplies and resources were transported to Ukraine immediately after the war began.
To date, as part of the overall Ukraine mission and in collaboration with several Frankfurt families, goods and relief supplies worth well into the tens of millions have been mobilized.
